Neuschwanstein Castle is a place I have found intriguing ever since I was a very young child and my parents had a record album featuring a picture of it on the front. I finally decided to paint it a few years back. There are a couple of mistakes in it; one of them quite gruelling. When I first stood back and noticed, I considered correcting them, but then I thought about it some more and decided to leave them in, making this image of Neuschwanstein unique and a bit surreal.

By the later school grades and into junior High School, my artwork consisted primarily of graphite pencil sketching which I very much enjoyed. However, I wished to add colour to my art as well as start using materials which I perceived, at the time, to be more permanent than pencil on paper(with my limited knowledge, at the time, about paper quality).
