I've had this image rattling around in my cranium since I was about 11 or 12 years old; a skull on a video screen. I'm 53 now, so I've had this idea for a little while. As a child, I knew I didn't want the video screen to be a regular TV, but something more. It wasn't until I was 16 that I learned about oscilloscopes, how they work and how to use them. Although in subsequent years I considered other forms of test instrumentation such as a spectrum analyzer or vector network analyzer, I finally reverted back to the first choice I made in my teen years. By May, 1983, I participated in my first...

Super cool artwork! I love the theme, the skull, the knobs and intricate parts. Great piece! L/F Following

Thanks Kristy. This one sold right off the easel after I completed it. The idea of an image of a skull on a video screen first came to mind when I was 11 years old, but I didn't paint it until I was 53.

Thanks Lyric, It is very much appreciated. It looks like this one already sold when it was barely off the easel; but I'm waiting for the buyer to make at least the first instalment(this coming Thursday) before I make an official announcement.
